PCT Law Group Opens Northern Virginia Office
22-Jul-2009ALEXANDRIA, Va.- July 22, 2009 --(BUSINESS WIRE)--PCT Law Group, PLLC today announced that it has opened a new office in Alexandria, Virginia with the addition of attorneys Angela H. France and Kimberly B. Whitehead.
Ms. France, who joins PCT Law as the Managing Member of the Alexandria office, brings a wealth of litigation and corporate transactional experience to the Firm on a wide-range of legal disciplines including business contracts, corporate formation, mergers and acquisitions, employment matters, bankruptcy, and creditor's rights. Highly regarded for her legal counsel to small- and medium-sized businesses, Ms. France was recognized in 2007 and 2008 as one of Virginia’s "Legal Elite" attorneys by Virginia Business Magazine. Prior to joining PCT, Ms. France was a partner at Albo & Oblon, LLP.

Ms. Whitehead, who joins PCT Law as Senior Counsel, focuses her practice on Intellectual Property litigation, licensing, and the acquisition of rights through trademark and patent prosecution. As lead patent and trademark counsel, her experience includes designing and implementing strategic initiatives for intellectual property-focused businesses. Ms. Whitehead prosecutes domestic and international patents in the fields of the mechanical, electromechanical, and business method arts with a focus on medical devices, and prosecutes domestic and international trademarks in a variety of product areas. Prior to joining PCT, Ms. Whitehead worked in the intellectual property group as an attorney at Dickstein Shapiro LLP's Washington, DC office. She has also practiced law at Baker & Hostetler LLP and Burns & Levinson LLP.
Ms. France is a graduate of the George Mason University School of Law, with a B.S. from James Madison University. Ms. Whitehead received her law degree from Georgetown University and obtained a B.A.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.
